Welcome to Mary Talkins.

These Terms of Use explain the rules for using the Mary Talkins app and related services. By using Mary Talkins, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Mary Talkins is

Mary Talkins is a parenting support app designed to help parents and caregivers with daily connection, gentle reminders, and guidance for everyday parenting moments.

Mary Talkins is not a medical, psychological, legal, or emergency service.

2. Who may use Mary Talkins

Mary Talkins is intended for parents and caregivers.

The app is not intended for children to use directly.

You are responsible for any information you enter into the app.

3. Parenting guidance

Mary Talkins may provide reminders, parenting insights, and AI-generated guidance.

This guidance is for general support and reflection only. It may not be right for every child, family, or situation.

You are responsible for deciding how to use any guidance in your own family.

If you or your child need professional help, please contact a qualified professional. If there is immediate danger, contact emergency services.

4. Describe feature

If you use the Describe feature, you may submit a written description of a parenting situation.

Mary Talkins may process that text using backend systems and/or AI service providers to generate a response.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or that contains unnecessary sensitive personal information.

5. Subscriptions, free trials, and purchases

Mary Talkins may offer free trials, subscriptions, lifetime access, or other paid features.

All purchases made through the iOS app are handled by Apple App Store.

Subscription billing, cancellation, and refunds are managed through your Apple account.

Mary Talkins does not control Apple’s refund decisions.

6. Lifetime access

If Mary Talkins offers lifetime access, it means access to the included paid features for the lifetime of the Mary Talkins app/service, subject to these Terms.

Lifetime access does not guarantee that every future feature, separate product, or third-party service will be included.

7. Free version

Mary Talkins may offer a free version with limited features.

We may change what is included in the free version over time.

8. No ads

Mary Talkins is designed as a calm parenting support experience and does not rely on third-party advertising as part of the core product.

9. Your responsibility

You agree to use Mary Talkins responsibly.

You should not rely on Mary Talkins as your only source of parenting, medical, psychological, legal, or safety advice.

You are responsible for your decisions and actions.

10. Intellectual property

Mary Talkins, including its design, text, content, branding, and features, belongs to Mary Talkins and its owners/licensors.

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, resell, reproduce, or redistribute Mary Talkins content or features without permission.

11. Availability

We aim to keep Mary Talkins available and useful, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Some features may require internet access.

We may update, change, pause, or discontinue parts of the app over time.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Mary Talkins is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Mary Talkins is provided as a support tool, not as a substitute for professional care or personal judgment.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are significant, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice.

Your continued use of Mary Talkins means you accept the updated Terms.
